A post of pictures: September 2012

September was a busy, busy month.  Instead of bullet-pointing like I usually do, this month I’ve decided to show what I’ve been up to with pictures:

  • I am absolutely in love with this picture. Jon and I on a bench, Bergen was the photographer.
  • Visited the Snowgoose in CT after we both spoke at the annual WTF conference for Cape Peninsula University of Tech
  • Had a party at Aqua that celebrated Spring, beach style.
  • My shoes for the wedding
  • We saw our dear friends Justin & Megs married on Saturday! This was also the reason we went on leave & got out of town 🙂
  • Tasted Wakaberry’s for the first time. Went overboard and had every flavour available :/
  • Jon and I, just chilling in church for Justin & Meg’s wedding 🙂
  • Wedding table setting. Gorgeous, hey?
  • Woke up to this yesterday morning.
  • Went quad biking on Friday. Arms are still tender. Creamed Jon though, he ATE MY DUST.
  • No words necessary. The Drakensberg might be our new favourite place in SA.
  • Sigh. Had to take this down off my office door this morning 🙁
  • Happy, red-faced, wonderfully fit bf after a 10km race last week
  • Pedicured toes. I also had a manicure, facial, full body & scalp massages too. I’m spoilt I know. Last week rocked!
  • Sigh.
  • Post 6km race-face.
  • Jon dragged me to a LARP event. Yes, really.
  • Spent a long weekend in the Drakensberg. Experienced these beautiful views.
  • After my last post on making Jon pray over a chelsea bun for Rosh Hashana, one of the Jews I work with brought in a genuine kitka / challa bread.
  • Post-quad biking dirty hands. *lick*
  • Friendly Drakensberg Sun Resort staff. Thanks again @TsogoSun!
  • Received this pack on my first day back at work (I went on leave for a week and a bit)
  • Made home made bread for Jon the night before his fast last week. GF points = I haz them.
  • Went to a few 4am races.
  • Jon, totally out of his usual comfort zone, had more fun than expected. Tsk, Sandton boy 🙂

I just LOVE the one of you and Jon on the bench!
That wedding table looks so beautiful.
I want to hear about the LARP event! I didn’t know Jon “played”!

@Angel – The LARP event was not my scene at all. Jon doesn’t play – he brought me along to check it out to see what it was like. The venue was unshaded, the people were strange and cliquey, and I couldn’t wait to go. I also got ripped off by a “tarot card reader” who spent 30 mins picking the fluff off his cards in silence and eventually looked up to tell me I should be paid less money and I’d be more happy.

      Meh.

Have been locked into Instagram and watching the photos, so I’ve seen most of em – dig the place you went to for holiday, looked gorgeous. I’ve been digging the whole ‘post of pictures’ vibe, I’m doing it as well, fantastic way to open up personality on the blog 🙂
